Privacy Statement

CECOC is committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you the most powerful and safe online experience. This Statement of Privacy applies to the CECOC Web site and governs data collection and usage. By using the CECOC website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
CECOC collects personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number. CECOC also collects anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your ZIP code, age, gender, preferences, interests and favorites.
There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by CECOC. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information is used by CECOC for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the CECOC Web site.
Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through CECOC public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others. Note: CECOC does not read any of your private online communications.
We process your personal data in the situations set out below:
1.   When you visit our website
the browser in use on your device automatically sends information to our websites server. This information is stored temporarily in a so-called log file. As part of this process, the following information is collected without action on your part and stored until it is automatically erased:
IP address of the referring computer;
Date and time of access;
Name and URL of files accessed;
Website from which access was initiated (referrer URL);
Browser used and, if applicable, your computers operating system as well as the name of your service provider.
In addition, we use cookies and analytical services when you visit our website. More information on this topic is included under the heading Analytical tools.
2.   If you are interested in sending us an application in response to an advertised vacancy or as an unsolicited application, we will process any documents you send us along with your personal data. In addition, you may send us other information on a voluntary basis that you believe may be beneficial in connection with evaluating an employment relationship with us.
3. If you provide more information about your personal profile on a free basis.

PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING - USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
CECOC collects and uses your personal information to operate the CECOC Web site and deliver the services you have requested. CECOC also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from CECOC and its affiliates. CECOC may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.
CECOC does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. CECOC may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information (e-mail, name, address, telephone number) is not transferred to the third party. In addition, CECOC may share data with trusted partners to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to CECOC, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
CECOC does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political affiliations, without your explicit consent.
CECOC keeps track of the Web sites and pages our customers visit within CECOC, in order to determine what CECOC services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within CECOC to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.
CECOC Web sites will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on CECOC or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of CECOC; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of CECOC, or the public.
The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes listed above for data collection. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of identifying you personally unless you provide this data yourself.
Data processing can also serve the purpose of establishing and implementing an employment relationship in accordance with Art. 88 GDPR. In the event of a positive decision, your personal data is included in our personnel file and is used for purposes of the employee administration process.

CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below to the following categories of recipients.
Furthermore, CECOC will only share your personal data with third parties if:
- You have given your express consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR;
- Disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR is necessary to assert, exercise or defend legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in not disclosing your data;
- In the event that a legal obligation exists for the transfer pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c) GDPR, and
- This is legally permissible and is necessary for the management of contractual relationships with you in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR.
Data will only be transferred to third countries if you have given your consent.

PERIOD FOR WHICH PERSONAL DATA IS STORED
1.    Cookies are stored in your browser as so-called session cookies so that your browser automatically deletes them after leaving our website. In this case, the duration of storage depends on the technical functionality of the browser you are using.
2.    In the case of a recrutement process:
- Rejection: Personal data collected will be stored for at least three months. The longest storage period is a maximum of six months.
- Hiring: Our retention periods apply. The information you are entitled to will be provided to you upon hiring.
Please note that CECOC deletes your data if their storage is inadmissible (especially if the data is incorrect and correction is not possible). Data will be blocked rather than erased if legal or actual barriers prevent erasure (e.g. special storage obligations due to commercial and tax regulations).

RIGHT TO OBJECT
If your personal data are processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, provided that there are reasons for this which arise from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right of objection, which we will implement without specifying a particular situation.

RIGHT TO INFORMATION, RECTIFICATION, ERASURE, RESTRICTION
Data subjects have the right to receive information concerning their personal data as well as the right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. Furthermore, data subjects have the right to object to processing.

RIGHT TO DATA PORTABILITY
Data subjects have a right to data portability.

RIGHT TO LODGE A COMPLAINT WITH THE SUPERVISORY AUTHORITIES
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authorities.

PROVIDING PERSONAL DATA
You are under no legal obligation to provide personal data.

AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING, INCLUDING PROFILING
Under certain circumstances, an automated profile can be created with the aim of evaluating personal aspects. CECOC uses these profiling measures in the following cases:
On the basis of legal and regulatory requirements, we are obliged to combat money laundering, terrorist financing and financial crimes. Data analyses (e.g. comparison to legally prescribed lists) are also carried out.

ANALYTICAL TOOLS
The CECOC Web site use "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.Information is stored in the cookie that is created in connection with the specific device you are using. However, this does not mean that we receive direct information regarding your identity.
One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize CECOC pages, or register with CECOC site or services, a cookie helps CECOC to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same CECOC Web site, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the CECOC features that you customized.
On the other hand,CECOC use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and for evaluation purposes in order to optimise our website for your use. These cookies enable us to automatically recognise that you have already visited our website upon any future visits. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period of time. The data processed by cookies is required for the aforementioned purposes in order to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR.

DATA SECURITY
CECOC secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. CECOC secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other Web sites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
Our security measures are continuously improved in keeping up with technological developments.

VALIDITY AND CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy is currently valid and dated May 2018.
CECOC will occasionally update this Statement of Privacy to reflect company and customer feedback. CECOC encourages you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how CECOC is protecting your information.
You may access and print out the current Privacy Policy at any time from our website.
